The oven - the heart of the sauna
The heart of the Silgmann sauna is the sauna oven, which we design and produce ourselves. In the private sector, above all, it is important for the sauna to be ready to use quickly. Therefore the basic models of our sauna ovens are designed to release warmth immediately.
All of our sauna ovens can be fitted with steam facilities and stone fillings. We only use Finnish olivine stones as sauna ovens. They have an extermely high heat retaining capacity and guarantee not only to give off heat over a long period but always ensure an intensive reaction when aroma infused water is sprinkled over the hot stones.
We always make sure that all our ovens have a lot of fresh air supply opportunities. This, combined with the ventilation system, guarantees an especially mild and pleasant sauna atmopshere. The necessary sauna oven performance depends on the size of the sauna- For this there are strict rules: per cubic metre of room there should be an oven capacity of 1 kW
All of our sauna ovens can be fitted with diverse oven guard rails and casings.
Sauna Compact Oven
The Silgmann Sauna Compact oven is a high capactiy sauna oven with a quality stainless steel covering. The double covering construction takes care of the convection heat. A good supply of fresh air is guaranteed via the big cross section.
The sauna Compact oven is VDE and ÖVE tested and can be used in diverse saunas with an activity value of 3 to 30 KW. Depending on the room, the sauna oven, Compact can be fitted as a stand alone or wall oven.
Sauna BioMax Oven
The Silgmann Sauna BioMax oven is an attractive alternative for the Finnish sauna user. The sauna BioMax oven has a capacity of up to 60kg of stones. This facilitates an especially balanced ratio of radiant and convection heat.
The stone basket is located above the heating rod with the opening for the air inlet vent therefore ensuring optimal air circulation. The aluminium die-cast cover also makes the Silgmann BioMax oven especially interesting in its design. With activity values from 9 to 15 kW, the BioMax is ideal for saunas measuring between 8 and 15 m2.
Sauna ovens for limited space.
The Silgmann under the bench - sauna oven is an especially space saving solution as the heating system is installed underneath the sauna bench. It is also exceptionally child friendly as it cannot be touched directly.
The behind-the-wall -sauna oven is very narrow and can also be installed to save a lot of space.
The triangular sauna oven is the ideal solution when the sauna oven should ideally be placed in the corner of the sauna to save space.
