The Power of Colours and Tones

If light is broken by prism then it breaks into two parts- into a calming one and a stimulating one. Every stimulating colour has a corresponding calming colour. This corresponds completely to the Yin and Yang philosophy.

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), human skin is connected through a meridian system which is influenced by specific colours. Therefore, every meridian as well as every organ has its own colour.

By using coloured light fittings, we are able to apply consciously and make use of the pleasant and healthy effects of colour. If you would like a coloured light fitting in your Silgmann sauna then you can choose between the following systems.

Well Color – the entire colour spectrum

Whether you want a calming blue, a stimulating red, a relaxing green, white or a yellow light as a mood lifter Siglmann's Well Color colored light system offers an unlimited spectrum of colour tones.

In comparison to traditional lighting systems, Well Color uses novel diodes, whose light wave length can be continiously adjusted and thus enables you to create a variety of moods in your sauna. Well Color's easy to use and intelligent control system lets you save your chosen colours so that you can retrieve them anytime at the press of a button.

The Well Color system can be installed as coloured light device in saunas, infra-red cabins as well as in quiet areas. Well Color can also be fitted into round stoves, as a ceiling or wall light or a free standing light.

Spotlights and colour tubes

Even if you don't have a Well Color system you don't have to miss out on the pleasant effects of colour. You can choose between red,green, blue and yellow colour tubes and combine them as you like. At Silgmann we only use high quality Philips colour tubes, which have an exceptionally long service life.

Starry skies

Our starry sky, made up of many individual spotlights, creates a very special atmosphere and effects. A light projector shines a light over many individual fibre optic cables, thus creating a wonderful display of colour and a variety of mood lighting. Silgmann only uses high quality fibre optic cables which have an exceptionally long service life.

Bright Light as a Therapy

Two additional biolux bulbs, which are exceptionally bright can be fitted into all ceiling light systems. They are good for relieving depression and insomnia
