Feel the warmth from within
Over the last few years, in particular, infrared cabins have gained a following and justifiably so as the mild radiant heat of the infrared light has, in combination with temperatures between 45 and 65 degrees celsius, very positive effects on the body. Many people find this tempertature very pleasant.
It has been shown that considerable amounts of sweat and toxins are excreted and it helps to relieve muscle tensions and joint problems. After an infrared session the skin feels fresh and the pores clean.
What kind of infrared rays are recommended?
The most powerful IR have the IR-A and IR-B waves which are the ones which penetrate the body most. As these rays only occur at very high temperatures ( approx. 2000 degrees celcius) we are unable to use them but the powerful IR rays which are used in an IR cabin have a radiation temperature of approx. 400 degrees celcius.
In our cabins we generally use an invisible foil or panel heating which both ensure a particularly mild "all over exposure" as well as heaters with a surface temperature of around 300 to 400 degrees celsius . We can also install classical infrared heaters in our infrared cabins on request.
Relaxing with music and colour
Of course, all Silgmann's IR cabins can be fitted with an extra coloured lighting system of your choice and/or additional Biolux lamps which are particularly bright. We are also able to install speakers into your Silgmann IR, on request, so you can listen to you favourite music.
