Sauna Rules
The Perfect Sauna
Information on preparing for a sauna effectively, the things that you should take with you and how saunas make you relax in the best possible way can be found in the new Silgmann sauna rules. Simply download here
1) Preparations
Make sure you have enough time. A full sauna should last a minimum of 2 hours. You can only really enjoy the relaxing effects of the sauna if you are not under time pressure.
2) Having a sauna
Make yourself really comfortable and place a towel under your whole body. You sweat best if you lie in the middle or at the top. Whilst you are in the sauna rely primarily on how you feel and spending 10 - 15 minutes in the sauna at a time is normal. If you sit up during the last two minutes then your circulation will get used to being in the upright position again.
3) Rest
If you take a sauna correctlty then it shouldn't over exert your body. However, a small break in between in is very relaxing and enjoyable. Simply go with how you feel here too and make sure that your feet don't get cold.
